IMDGELGA - IMDG Code e-learning General Awareness Course (Amdt 38-16)

IMDGELGA - IMDG Code e-learning General Awareness Course (Amdt 38-16)

IMDGELGA - IMDG Code e-learning General Awareness Course (Amdt 38-16)

IMDG Code training became mandatory from 1 January 2010 for all shore-side staff involved in dangerous goods transport by sea. Exis has developed a cost-effective training tool, in collaboration with the International Maritime Organization, which enables shore side sectors to receive high quality training that complies with the training requirements in the IMDG Code.

There are four levels of training – general awareness, function specific, advanced, refresher - and a specific freight forwarder course. The course is ‘open book’ and students should have access to the IMDG Code either in book or digital format. The digital access allows students to hyperlink to the relevant parts of the IMDG Code from their course screens.

The courses can be purchased with the additional modules:

    • 49 CFR – looks at the additional requirements in 49 CFR when shipping into/from the USA under the IMDG Code provisions
    • ADR – looks at the additional provisions and/or variations applicable to the road legs of a combined road/sea journey.

The modules can also be taken as individual courses if an IMDG Code training course has been taken previously. In this case, please note that the modules are only suitable for 49 CFR and ADR training where there is a sea journey involved in the shipment of the dangerous goods.

Required fields are marked with a star (*). Click the 'Add To Cart' or 'Add To Wish List' button at the bottom of this form to proceed.
