The IMDG Code is international guideline to the safe transportation or shipment of dangerous goods by sea. IMDG Code training is mandatory for all shore side staff involved in the handling and transport of dangerous goods by sea. IMDG Code e-learning was developed by Labeline’s partner, Exis Technologies, in collaboration with the International Maritime Organization to meet the challenge of efficiently and economically training very large numbers of shore side staff.
All IMDG Code e-learning course content and assessment is online. There are tests throughout the courses to ensure that a good understanding of the course content is being gained as the student progresses. Students have three months in which to complete the courses; they take them at their own pace or within a set timeframe and can monitor their own progress as they proceed. Test scores build towards a final course completion score and certificate. The training is offered in modules, so you can choose which courses are most suitable for you. Discounts are available for more than 10 candidates per module.
Certificates can be printed out and kept as a record of training.
Courses are accessed over the internet with a pc, laptop or tablet device (iPad, Android or Windows). Internet Explorer 9 and upwards is recommended for viewing the courses.
